Thanks for everything at the seminar. I appreciate you taking your time to come out and educate us. I have coached for about twenty four years . Some in the GTHL and OHA as a Head Coach and GM. I have always asked my players to compete at their highest level and play tough. I can’t help but have a overwhelming feeling of sadness. I have witnessed not only my players but other coaches players fight , get hit from behind and play with a sense of disregard towards other players. I have a son now who is 13 and he has had one concussion so far in hockey. I was raised to believe that it’s the good old Canadian way to be a tough guy on the ice. I sat there tonight listening to you and Mr. Dennis and I believe every coach whether at the minor or pro level needs to clean up their act and take personal responsibility for the way they coach and how there direct their players to play. I feel tonight in that seminar, it had such a major impact on me that my coaching methods and my thoughts on hockey will change forever. If you ever need any help on getting your message out I will be glad to do so.
